UPS for 3D printing through voltage sag/brown outs?

Hi all. Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on uninterruptible power supplies for home 3D printing. Obviously, any reasonably priced UPS isn’t going to keep a 3D printer going through a long print. Or even a short print, really… But wouldn’t it be nice to not lose an entire print to a momentary dip in mains voltage? That’s what I’ve been thinking, anyway, so the requirements would be:Good voltage sag (and maybe surge) protection..reasonable size (to go with a desktop printer)Inexpensive. Commercial solutions are a whole different topic!Maybe 1 minute battery time. It would take a serious unit to ride out an outage or long brownout, so let’s just say “long enough for a generator to kick on”. Or not, because not everyone has a generator. So, thoughts? http://ift.tt/2asAO0O
