Does anyone know if anyone has been working on a slicer functionality that allows a multi-colour printer to print infill when priming (where possible) instead of adding to the priming pillar.

Is this even possible? Would it negatively effect the infill too much? I think Thomas Sanladerer mentioned it off-hand.Obviously this would only have a chance at working when using two feeds of the same material (just different colours), but the idea would be to save some filament by creating infill when priming, instead of adding to the priming pillar, so as to waste less material and increase print speed. http://ift.tt/2m8PRUq
