Finding the right tolerance between parts tends to be a trial and error process which is tedious and wasteful or a mathematical nightmare with calipers. I’m a fan of the KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid) method so I created a series of tolerance testers to find the tolerance that works for you on your machine.Edit: I came up with this model/idea almost 2 years ago (old print in black new in blue) but just got around to publishing it. I’m now thinking many printers may have problems with it being based on 5mm rods so I plan on reworking the design a second time to be based of 10mm rods which also happen to be much more common. http://ift.tt/1PbMuAQ
