Hey all so I’ll be soon starting what is probably my biggest multi part print to date and I wanted to see what others preferred in the realm of glues to attach parts together. The print I’m doing will be wholly relying on the glue, with no extra support coming from the parts. These are giant flat surfaces coming together so I want to make sure what I’m using is the strongest for the job. Also, I’m printing in PLA.I’ve used normal CA glues in the past, have switched to acrylic cement on a recommendation, and am now hearing that 2-part epoxies are the way to go. My latest recommendation is using an accelerator with normal super glue. I’m probably just very naive and have to test that but on paper it doesn’t sound that much stronger than acrylic cement.So, what does the rest of r/3dprinting prefer for their multi object prints? http://ift.tt/2k09aOS
