I’ve been working with 3DHubs for over two years now; close to 150 orders and nearly 100 reviews. We started out 2 years ago with 1 printer and a dream. Since then we have re-invested 100% of our proceeds into building a low cost, high quality, rapid prototyping service. We now operate 9 FDM printers and 1 SLA Printer (Form2).Anyways over this Holiday season I have had the displeasure of interacting with what I can only describe as a scam artist/liar. This individual placed an order on my Hub for White Resin on the Form2. We were already setting up to print several other client orders in black; and I informed him that it would be several days before we could switch out the resin tank for white. He said he was already behind on his project so he wanted it in black to save time. He then asked if the parts would come out glossy and I informed him that they would be matte but could be made glossy with some mineral oil.I suggested to him that I test print one of his files before paying so he could evaluate the finish and resolution. We did this; sent him a few pictures, and he said that they looked good and wanted me to proceed. So we proceed printing out 11 parts of his order on the Form2; providing images at every step of the way; both closeup and distance shots to see all the details. All along the way he keeps saying that the parts look good. Finally when the parts arrive he immediately calls me a liar; saying that the parts needed to be glossy and that mineral oil only makes them oily and that I should know the difference. Then he claims that the print quality was nothing like what was shown in the images we sent to him. These parts cost us 11.5 hours of our time. It cost us ~200mL of resin; and over 20 hours of printer time on the Form2, plus $7 for priority mail shipping. In addition to that we now have a dishonest, libelous review, and now 3DHubs is asking I send them the money back; because the scammer didn’t even dispute through 3DHubs, but sent a chargeback to 3DHubs after the 10day window had elapsed.Just a word of warning that 3DHubs will cater to scammers, liars, and bullies regardless of how good your previous history is with them. I have no problems giving out refunds when there are issues with print quality, with print fit, issues with timing, etc. But these prints were fantastic. The prints in question shown below.http://ift.tt/2hAMIM7: For context this is the dishonest review left for these prints and my response.http://ift.tt/2idN5eF http://ift.tt/2iKE8Xk
