A few months ago I asked here for help getting a MakerBot Z18 up and running. While that thread resulted in a lot of unhelpful down voting some folks were really helpful, so thank you. This post is to thank you guys.While MakerBot support were no help, one of their recommended service providers (http://ift.tt/2hIsv2I) were excellent. Long story short I ended up replacing the extruder for a newer Smart Extruder + and also had to swap out the gantry motor and PCB which was knackered.
