So, I’ve had an Ultimaker 2 for a few years now and have printed all sorts of items but only finished a few.http://ift.tt/1NVN1Ma RB is a realtor friend’s logo and was printed, bondo and sanded. I sprayed some cheap bulls-eye primer in several coats, light sanding between. Then I airbrushed it with Velljo French blue and metal medium. Lastly, I applied 3 coats of kreylon gloss. The other part is an end disc to a drive pulley and XTC-3D applied. I don’t know if I applied it thickly enough because it didn’t smooth terribly deep. Perhaps it’s not supposed to? It’s sure shiny though. If anyone has them, I’d love some suggestions on sanding tips. I really struggled with the RB print to get in some small areas.Or… suggestions on applying Bondo. It’s tough to use a putty knife on small prints. http://ift.tt/25tsMNB
