I don’t understand. Almost every single thread I see about bed adhesion, the top recommendation is “glue and glass”. Glue is a pain in the ass and everyone knows it. Having to wipe that shit down and reapply gets old, and if you get lazy and don’t swap it out your bed starts looking like a mess.PEI, on the other hand, requires no chemical adhesive, leaves smooth print bottoms, pops prints off easily, and doesn’t require constant cleaning and upkeep. EVERY single person I have recommended PEI to in real life has been blown away with how easy it is. I have not heard a single person, online or in my personal life, complain about PEI or say “wow I miss the days of constantly spraying noxious hairspray/applying Elmer’s glue to this sheet of glass just so that I can’t even get my print off the bed after it’s done”.It’s the 21st century people.
