I created a Prusa i3 Mk2 machine definition for Cura 2.3

Hey folks!I posted this on the prusa forums but wanted to make sure more people saw it, so I’m crossposting here as well.I finally got pissed off enough I just decided to do it myself.I created an extensive printer definition file and printed a calibration cube using the stock “Normal Quality” settings, but at 0.2mm layer height in Prusa PLA. The results are fantastic for zero tuning!Calibration Cube More pics of surfaces hereThe dimensions were within 0.03mm of 20mm on all sides, and the imperfections are very minor.I created a github project to host the definition file and track any changes I or others might need to make, and wrote a brief README for how to use it, and my rationale behind some decisions. The repository is here. And a direct link to the definition file is here. Please read the instructions in the repository for more details on how to use the definition. If you find anything else that makes sense to tweak for a default that wouldn’t make more sense in a quality profile, feel free to submit a pull-request or otherwise comment/contact me if you’re not savvy with git.Hope this helps!EDIT: I added some initial translations of Prusa Slic3r quality profiles for 0.35mm, 0.2mm and 0.1mm to the repository as well, under the quality directory. http://ift.tt/2cg3nk5
