Landed a 3D printing interview

Hi everybody!A few days ago I landed a job interview in a 3D printing company and, as some of you asked, im giving my feedback now.It was a normal interview, I got through the normal questions about my master (Biomedical Engineering) and personnal traits, what I envision for myself and balance between ambitions/expectations, why I choose to aply, so on…It was when it came to 3D printing skills that it got really fun (being positive, was feeling a bit anxious on the spot). Got asked some basic concepts about modelling and visualization (if it’s the correct name for it): Cura and Fusion 3D skillsets were evaluated, I was given a challenge to model, compile and prepare a file to print on a Makerbot which was already fully calibrated. This was pretty much it.After that and since I have some technical experience on printing, I have an Anet A8 of my own, I got to answer a questionnaire about the “hardware” of a printer, including to imagine a clogged nozzle and diferent ways of cleaning it. Got asked what were some of components, just to acertain that I knew well what I was talking about. The last part of the interview was about job conditions, expectations of salary and “we’ll get in contact with you in the next couple of weeks”.Imho, I felt good with the whole interview and got out of there happy with what I was able to demonstrate. Hope that they’ll call me back, I got a bit hyped with the workplace, an office on the 7th floor with a beautiful view the city I live in. Im keeping my expectations low, when I have more (good I hope) news I’ll share them!Anyways, if you want to know more go ahead and coment asking!P.s.: Let me thank u/RadiationTitan, u/scryharder, u/CasuallyCompetitive and u/joetwocrows for providing their good advice, I used most of it along the interview! https://ift.tt/2z9t54l
