So, I’ve started crossing the gap from downloading STLs and making them. Currently I’ve been using Tinkercad (the web-based program), but I’d like something a bit more powerful but still easy to use (unlike OpenSCAD). And offline. I’ve found plenty of CAD programs that are far outside of the scope of 3D printing – like animation and rendering effects that are obviously unnecessary for our purposes. Any thoughts/suggestions, /r/3dprinting? http://ift.tt/2av2xvM
