I have a moire effect on all of my prints (like this) and it’s caused by inconsistent microstepping on my extruder (direct). Since I fixed all of the mechanical issues, this is now the most pronounced defect and I’m desperate to fix it. So far I’ve tried:A4988 without any changesA4988 in mixed decay mode (ROSC pin grounded)DRV8825 aloneDRV8825 with diodesswapping motor ofcSo what else could I try? Maybe some other decay modes for DRV driver would be helpful? Nothing seems to drive the extruder consistently enough. I’m running a RAMPS with 12V power supply. https://ift.tt/2wTbi2P
