Home-made SLA printer’s first print

So after about 5 weeks of tinkering and modelling the parts I have finalised the first version of my new SLA printer. Today, after tinkering a few more hours to get the resin to stick to the buildplate I printed my first model :DThe printer has 4 10W UV 405nm LEDs and a raspberry pi with 3.5 inch LCD hat. The LCD hat is being used as the screen to block out the UV with. The resolution is 480 pixels in the width over 7 about cm and 320 pixels in height over about 5 cm.The make-shift printer 1The make-shift printer 2The printed model 1The printed model 2Thingiverse link to the modelI kind of just started making this printer because I didn’t have enough money to buy a proffesional one. I believe the whole thing cost me about 170 Euros to build. https://ift.tt/2k9WeVq
