Need help getting a prosthetic 3d printed.

Need help with 3d printing a finger prosthetic.Hello readers, as I mentioned above (which is where tl;Dr belongs in my opinion) a few months ago I tried to swat a moth, yes a moth. Clipped a wall with the back of my hand which caused a hematoma to develop on the tendon surrounded by scar tissue. Cue one hell of a nasty infection and all of this results in a tendon that is beyond repair. I was given 2 options have a surgery which will take a tendon from my index finger and donate it across, This will leave me with 2 extremely weak fingers, or I can have the offending finger removed. I do rock climbing, and sculpting as a hobby which obviously require some strength and dexterity in the fingers, the surgery will greatly effect both, so I’ve elected for amputation.Onto the 3D printing aspect, an absolute legend of a man called Nick Brookins developed a finger prosthetic and released the info for anyone to 3d print there own, but alas I have no idea about anything 3d printing related. So I was hoping that someone could have a look and tell me if the information provided is enough to send it into one of these companies that 3d print things on request. It’s called Knicks prosthetic finger and can be found here,https://ift.tt/2KDfeqf I would be losing all knuckles In the operation I would need to change the mounting options, but I’m a handy guy (excuse the pun) and could manage that but would still need the full finger as shown in the pictures on the website. So please if anyone can help me I would be eternally grateful. I also make cosplay masks/ geeky sculptures so I’m sure if someone helped me out I could create a little something as thanks If that would interest you.Edit: I should have mentioned that I’m in Lincoln, UKEdit 2: This is why Reddit is awesome thanks for your help peopleEdit 3: You beautiful bastards of r/3dprinting! Whether you’ve messaged me with offers, commented or just provided a bit of advice. I honestly cannot thank you enough, FAITH IN HUMANITY RESTORED!!! https://ift.tt/2wS7grq
