I’ve been lurking here for a long time, and I think some form of weekly challenges would be awesome for this sub.Example format:Name: talking bananaDescription: design a banana that can speak text through a speakerRequirements: [D]esign [E]electronics, [P]rogramming(So “[DEP]” can be in title so you can easily find suitable challenges in the future? Or maybe just have a difficulty tag? (Easy/moderate/hard)Why do this? This industry is booming, but a lot of people loose interest quickly once they’ve printed everything from thingiverse. I’ve had the most rewarding experience from learning CAD (fusion 360) and quickly iterating through designs. It’s just amazing how you can feel your objects and make changes quickly. However, most people may not have a reason to learn CAD, so let’s get together and come up with interesting weekly challenges that will allow everyone to learn from each other. If mods are willing to try this out, you may look for inspiration from r/dailyprogrammer r/blender (only ones I can think of rn)Also lmk of any suggestions https://ift.tt/2rMuA44
