Hi /r/3dprinting! I’d like to introduce RePLAy 3D, the first recycling company dedicated to the 3D printing industry!

Hi everyone,My name is Joe and I have been working on RePLAy 3D since last year. I’ve posted on the sub a few times looking for testers and feedback to help develop my new company and today I am proud to finally launch.RePLAy 3D is a mail-in recycling program and recycled filament manufacturer. The idea came to me after reading a number of posts on this sub as well as speaking with commercial 3D printers about what can be done with their 3D printing waste. I currently own a recycling company and I figured I would do some research and learn more about the printing industry. What I learned was that there have been previous attempts to collect scrap and produce recycled filaments but nothing really stuck. After speaking with many 3D printing companies, printer manufacturers, and home users I decided to take what I’ve learned from my current business and try out a recycling model that will be simple and cost efficient to all printers. So today I am launching my webpage as well as a Kickstarter Pre-Sale. Feel free to ask questions via this page or through a PM. The links to my webpage and Kickstarter are below. I’d like to give a big THANK YOU to everyone from /r/3dprinting that helped with this process and for any support.RePLAy 3D KickstarterRePLAy 3DFacebookInstagramAgain, feel free to ask any questions! Thanks!EDIT: Please do not order through the replay-3d.com website. There is an error in the shipping rates that will be corrected. Filament is currently available only through the Kickstarter page. Sorry for any confusion. http://ift.tt/2EPzaDL
