The Shoebox Case Feeder: a fully functional 3D printed case feeder for the Hornady Progressive Press

Hello everyone. Over the past year or so I’ve been working to design and build a fully functional case feeder for the Hornady Lock N Load progressive press that can be fabricated almost entirely on a consumer FDM printer. This is a full case feeder, including a powered collator that sorts cases and has an automatic cutoff. I’m releasing everything, including the STLs and source STEP files, under the Creative Commons BY-NC-SA license. All of the source files, along with a detailed Wiki describing how to print and assembly your own, are up on GitHub.A detailed introductory and description video is available hereSource files, including the original STEP design files, are available on GitHub here.A Wiki with detailed assembly instructions is available here. This is v1.0 and the design is a work in progress, so there are a few elements I’ll be improving or simplifying in the near future. This includes elimination of the requirement to build a brass guide rod, reducing the number of calibre-specific components and generally streamlining the design. Any feedback is appreciated.A big thank-you to /r/reloading and /r/3Dprinting for support and guidance. http://ift.tt/2xZrcFD
