Hey all, I’m developing an application that lets you create instructions for 3D printed objects that require assembly. You can see an example of this with the Heart Gears 1:2 by Emmet Lallish. He’s using 3D “Jigs” for assembly instructions, and it seems to help a lot.Is this something the 3D printing community would be interested in using? It means you don’t need to make a video or take photos, you can just use your .stl files and really quickly make fully interactive, step-by-step assembly instructions that are available anywhere. You can even embed them like a YouTube video :)I’m currently testing the tool (it’s called the Jig Workshop, short video overview here), and would love to hear your feedback on whether you’d use it. Please fire away with questions! http://ift.tt/2vBHYsL
