Got my printer last Friday. This is a game changer for board games.

Finally, after years of waiting for the right price:performance ratio, I took the plunge into the hobby and bought the MP Select Mini v2, which arrived last Friday. Since then, I’ve not only discovered the huge quantity of board game modifications out there, but also that I rather enjoy designing my own enhancements. So far I’ve remixed an existing holder to fit on my print bed, designed a simple two-slot tile holder, and am juuuust about finished with a dice and token tray once I fine tune the tolerances for the lid (Version 7 might be the winner!). Once I’m done with that, I’m moving on to design things for other underserved games!I’m actually considering getting the Maker Select in the coming months so I can both up my printing bandwidth and attempt larger designs. Also, thank you all! I’ve been lurking here and picking up a lot of ins and outs of 3D printing over the past week! http://ift.tt/2q6XU5Y
