Troubles with webcam and octopi

So I got octopi set up on a raspberry pi 3, got it working by itself. Got it tied into s3d so I can export gcode directly out.And then I got a little logitech c270 to hook up to it. At first it was plug and play, and worked great. But the webcam makes the whole setup incredibly inconsistent. Octopi/print will be fine until I go to the control tab and see the webcam. The feed will work for a few minutes, and then it will slow down and freeze, along with the rpi. The only way I can get back into octoprint is to restart the rpi. I’m using all of the defaults set in octopi. Any thoughts? http://ift.tt/2cfL6AI

Printer was great, now I think something’s wrong with my X axis motor.

I’ve had an i3 for a few months now and it’s been fantastic. I’ve printed a ton of useful (and not so useful) things and other than a lot of bed leveling, never had much of an issue. Now, whenever I get somewhere between 20 and 30 minutes into a project (or 30 – 40 layers at .2mm) there’s this hiccup/skipping sound and all of a sudden my print is off by about 10mm to the left or right. Sometimes it goes back and forth if I let the printer continue. Any ideas? http://ift.tt/2cijdtA
