Di3 v2 Replacement Heating Cartridge

Hello, I was wondering which heating cartridge should I get to replace the broken one. I have a ghetto style terminal block setup, with the heater wires taped then covered in heat shrink. What heating cartridge would you recommend? Also, would the polarity matter, I’ll try testing with a multi-meter. Thanks! 😀 http://ift.tt/1WYeBve

Installing micro-swiss all metal hot end kit on creator pro

Hi, so I have heard how versatile swapping the stock extruder for the microswiss kit was. I decided to pick some up and try installing it. I did the installation exactly as the instructions said to and watched multiple videos to be able to help. I everything install and preheated for the final tightening of the extruder nozzle. I set my printing temperate at 245c before feeding the filament through and letting it run for about 30 seconds. I ended up setting up a test cube after I leveled the bed as well. Tried to start printing at 220c for woodfill pla with 1.5mm retraction distance and 2000 mm/s for retraction speed and initiated the print and then bam the nozzle is clogged. I did the same thing adjust the temp retraction speed and distance for my second nozzle which was cheap flashforge brand white abs and the same thing happened when trying to print a cube. I thought I had set it all up correctly but what could be wrong? p.s. all these were printing well with the PTFE lined nozzle (white abs looked like crap but you get what you pay for) Thanks in advance for any help http://ift.tt/1tDWiiY

I have a Rostock Max V2 I can’t finish.

(I don’t think I am, but if I’m violating any rules, please tell me. I’m new to Reddit.)Hi Reddit!About a year ago, I was really into 3D printing. I had just gotten a SolidWorks certification at school, and the world couldn’t have been better. In my infinite optimism, I bought a 3D Printer Kit- the Rostock Max V2.I now realize that I may have bitten off more than I can chew. I should have gotten a smaller printer, I shouldn’t have bought a kit. Thanks to a ridiculously busy schedule, I haven’t had much spare time to work on it, and any time I do have goes into sports or Hearthstone. A year later, I’ve come to terms with the fact that I’m not going to finish. I’m taking summer classes, and there’s simply no time before fall semester. As such, I’d like to sell my half-created printer, and where better to start than here? I need advice and, if anyone here wants to buy it, even better. For advice, I specifically want to know: where’s the best place to sell it (if not here), how much it’s worth, and how to ship such a beast (I’m assuming it’s rather fragile). Thanks in advance 🙂 I can post more pictures if you guys need anything specific. I appreciate the help. http://ift.tt/1V9Id2n
