I picked up and assembled a Prusa MK3S 2 weeks ago, fired up fusion 360 and started designing Orchid Pots (I know, super random). Orchids need air circulation around their roots, and their roots are photosynthetic, so light is helpful. I didn’t like any of the designs, so I went through 29 iterations in a 48 hour period. I printed several prototypes and got feedback from the Orchid communities here on reddit. The result is something I think I can bring to market as a product, and this would have been completely impossible with any other technology.early prototypeanother early designFailed early printClose to final, but it needs a water base.Processing img ge0mjotjkr041…Let’s try making screw threadsExperimenting with infillhttps://ift.tt/2OfClvW thank you to the community here. I absorbed a ton of knowledge from you all over the past couple weeks. Excited about teh future of 3d printing! https://ift.tt/34iWZkr
