I first posted this on r/pics, but I think this sub might be more fitting… A few weeks ago I broke my hand (first metacarpal). I saw some examples of 3d printed casts online and I decided to design and print one myself. The doctors said I can wear this instead of a traditional cast.

Roger’s mecanum wheels in action as requested. Shows the coolest function which is strafing left/right. Doesn’t show diagonal movement though which looks nice too.

Roger now has quite large mecanum wheels. Had to Frankenstein the electronics to add in another motor driver for testing, and it drives pretty well on carpet. Have to reprint pretty much the rest of him for some changes, which fingers crossed will be the last time I need to.
