At the 1/2 mark for my replica of an 1800s map of Delaware made into tiles with black PLA and drywall spackle (then lots of sanding). This is taking a while but should look great when finished!

Labor of Love

I made a wedding card box for my daughter. It took a bunch of modifying of another’s design, some added touches of my own, six days of printing and a day of post-processing. I’m very happy with how it turned out. Printed in Hatchbox Wood PLA and Ziro Z-Marble PLA on a CR10-S, 200C, 0.15mm layer height, 3 walls, 10% cubic subdivision infill. I used last layer ironing on all Z-Marble parts. I sanded all Wood PLA parts, then stained with Minwax Red Chestnut 232. Parts glued in place with Gorilla super glue gel.
