Saw someone post a Cura “fuzzy-skin”picture. Figured I’d post one of a print I did a while back using modifier meshes to turn the fuzzy skin off only in specific areas.

I created a modifier mesh and used it to deselect the fuzzy skin option so that the mounting area and Punisher Skull logo would remain smooth while the rest of the grip got the texture. The same technique can be used to create textured grips, tire treads, etc. It is one of my favorite 3D prints to date and looks the least “3D printed” of any part that has come off my printer before any additional finishing work.​https://i.redd.it/zvqa0amsqla31.jpg​https://i.redd.it/p1xt3mswqla31.jpg https://ift.tt/2YXtoua
