Quick-ish story on how 3D printing has affected my GF

Quick preface: My GF doesn’t care for 3D printing. I do it quite a bit for work and at home for personal projects so she’s over it.It was Halloween of last year and we were packing for our vacation. This was our first year in our new house and we were sad we had to be at the airport before the trick or treaters would come around.We planned on leaving a bowl of candy on porch for trick or treaters, but it’s an enclosed porch and I was afraid the trick or treaters wouldn’t know to open to porch door to get the candy.I asked my GF if I should print a sign to tell them to open the door and she said “We really don’t have time for that!” We have to get going.”I wondered for a second, realized something, and said “You know we have a paper printer, right?”She thought I was all ready to buckle down, design and print a 3D sign right before we were about to head out the door to catch a plane. http://bit.ly/31nrEvF
