I’m no expert, but it is my considered opinion that the component circled in yellow is quite possibly not supposed to look like that and may, in fact, be a contributing factor to the power supply not working.

Gave designing a 3d printable drag chain a go. Tried to make it as 3d printable as possible. Cables just clip in, one link prints in just under 6 minutes. What do you guys think on the design?

Mrs Duck

Recently, we found our that our garden visitor Mrs Duck, has decided that our front doorway is a perfect place to sneak under the leaves and build a nest. We only found this out when doing some yard work, and coming across her carefully built nest complete with 8 eggs. Having two small kids, we thought we can’t just ignore this opportunity for learning something cool!Fortunately, daddy likes computers and 3d printing far too much, and so was built the Mrs Duck camera. Comprising of a raspberry pi (3b), a pi noir camera and a quickly whipped up case from http://bit.ly/2ZZhpgi (with an extra end cap modelled in tinkercad and printed to keep the innards dry), the Mrs Duck cam has been running for about a week now, streaming to YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=51wxvp4J9z4Definitely approved by the the little ones, they can check Mrs Duck is ok before bed 🙂 Fingers crossed any day soon we should have some little ducklings on our hands too!In-situ (I only had orange filament) http://bit.ly/2UZQAVL

I made a multipurpose D&D dice container! It has separate compartments for your dice and mini, has a coaster for your beer (or soda), looks like a tower, and has a 3″ diameter so it fits a standard table map for impromptu terrain
