Hi r/3Dprinting, I’m a web developer who could help with the Thingiverse problem.

Following the recent discussion in this subreddit about Thingiverse and the lack of good alternatives, I’d like to ask what you all would like to see in such an alternative, if it were to exist. I have the necessary skills and experience to develop this website, if there is sufficient demand for it.So, rather than just complain about Thingiverse, let’s do something constructive. Let’s discuss what a good alternative would look like and how it could function better. Tank models restored on Thingiverse

A couple of weeks ago, it was reported that tank and military equipment models were removed from Thingiverse due to a DMCA takedown by Wargaming. The story.Since there was talk about how they might be restored after 11 days if no court documents are created, I sent a message to TigerAce1945 asking him the status. He said that everyone’s models were restored all at once, even the 10 or so models that were Wargaming’s property. Yay! http://bit.ly/2Prs7aU
