I decided to print something for my girlfriends new room. Having a CR-10 I was anxious to test out its limits. Bad idea. I tried printing the famous hairy lion as big as the bed would fit, and it worked great (sort of, not perfect but okay for me being new at 3d printing ). After 34 hours and about 400g of filament, something on the Y axis clicked really loud and woke me up;the print had officially failed. Final dimensions are 11.5″ max length and tail to wall and about 8 inches tall out of the 13 or so it would have been. http://ift.tt/2FHdbj4

Micro-center is a godsend for us impatient ones, they even had some more expensive brands of filament on the opposite shelf like Protopasta.
