Beware of HatchboxFilament.com – they are not fulfilling orders or responding to customer communications

tl;dr Company is completely unresponsive, have not shipped out product for 2 months. Will not acknowledge request to refund.I just wanted to give everyone a heads up to beware of hatchboxFilament.com. They are not fulfilling orders and they are completely unresponsive to customers.I ordered filament from them 2 months ago because I couldn’t get it on Amazon. several weeks later I hadn’t received and emailed them, no response. I wait 3 more days and email another one of their addresses, no response.I wait several more days and contact Amazon. They send a forceful email to them and I finally get a response telling me that one of the 2 rolls I ordered was backordered and they were waiting for it to arrive. That’s interesting since I had specifically ordered filament that was listed as in stock. I replied and asked them to remove that roll from my order and just ship the other one. No response.Fast forward and we’re now 2 months since my order. I email them asking them to refund my money and tell them they have 3 days to respond since they’ve been completely unresponsive and I would just go through Amazon (I used Amazon pay). No response.I’ve now gone ahead and reached out to Amazon who has already told me the order was under the A-Z guarantee and asked that they refund my money.I will note that sometime during this time period they did send out an email claiming they are having horrible issues with their supplier and that lots of customer orders are not fulfilled. This would make sense if my filament had not been listed as in stock and if they hadn’t already told me that one of my rolls was in stock then refused to respond to my request to just ship that roll.At this point they are still taking orders on their site. My suspicion is that they’re trying to milk this for as much as they can get before they ghost with the money. Be wary of ordering from them. http://ift.tt/2EUnksN
