Hey r/3DPrinting,A warning to anyone out there that is thinking about subscribing to Makergeeks’ “Geek Box”, where they send you 2 rolls of filament every month. I’ve had a terrible experience cancelling after I moved.Back on 06 May, I asked to cancel. They don’t have an automated way to ask to cancel, so I sent an email. No answer for three days until I threatened a chargeback. They then said (exact quote):Oh ok, apologize you aren’t getting our emails back that we canceled your membership – we’ll let out guys at PCI know about the incoming chargeback. Be well,So I thought everything was fine, until they shipped me another box in May. So I told them that, then they said:Good morning, apologize about that sir and we’ll get this canceled and refunded for you right now. Thank you again,Well, I figured twice would be enough, but no, they sent me another box, which from the tracking apparently arrived today, at the address I haven’t lived at for two months. No idea where the boxes are actually ending up. My credit card company actually put a block against “Makergeeks”, but Chase said they’ve actually changed the name they use to run the charge twice which is allowing it to go around the block. It’s frustrating to the point where I’m cancelling my credit card now and getting a new one.So anyone thinking about subscribing… well, you’ll get filament. You just probably won’t be able to make it stop. http://ift.tt/2tpbdAk
