I’ve been doing a lot of looking into filaments, mainly because Hatchbox is essentially gone from Amazon and I was getting a little bit fed up with the quality compared to some of my nicer filaments. I also received a test sample of Proto-pasta’s HTPLA v3 which prints like a dream, better than any other filament I’ve used and only compares in quality to their other filaments. However, that all got me thinking, what is the absolute BEST filament? Looks great, adheres great, high strength, every possible positive quality wrapped up in one. It doesn’t matter how much it costs, I’m interested to hear what you all think. It doesn’t matter what type (PLA, ABS, PETG, I don’t care). Also provide pictures, there’s way too much theory in discussions like this with no evidence for claims, and I want to see some proof!Lets see your ‘best’ filaments, /r/3DprintingEdit: I think people took my question the wrong way, its very obvious what filament type is fit for any given job, I’m talking about brands, because I’ve noticed that brand really does matter and I’m interested to see what other people have tested out and their results. http://ift.tt/2swLE0M
