Pricing your prints?

how are people pricing their prints for jobs? Work has asked me to do some printing for them and are asking me for a price. I’m not looking to get rich off them but I want to set a fair price.I used 3Dhubs to give me an idea, I figured i also need to know the volumetric price of the filament I’m using which sli3er can do.So how do you price your prints?? http://ift.tt/2rmrmD5

Assholes over at Astroprint removing features from free plan and requiring you to pay $10 a month.

The assholes over at Astoprint finally pulled the ultimate dick move. Been using their platform for a few years now. Running 5 printers on 5 pi’s. Now they are pulling the ability to run multiple printers unless you pay a $10 a month subscription fee. You also go from 2gb to 50gb of cloud storage. I get the subscription fee for increased server space that costs them money. But running multiple printers costs me money not them. I paid for the printers and the pi hardware. I shouldn’t have to pay extra to run multiple printers. Furthermore its a huge dick move to invite people into your free echosystem and then after they are setup and running force them to pay a monthly fee. Fuck astroprint. http://ift.tt/2sgUixn
