What’s the best flexible filament – and where can I get it as it seems to be sold out everywhere – for sandals for my girlfriend?

Like the title says… I’m printing some minimalist sandals for my girlfriend and am at an empasse on what brand of filament to buy. She wants black, and she’s generally a barefoot runner, so these will be for rough terrain. I’m currently looking at NinjaTek Cheetah, but I’m not sure if it will be flexy enough for feet. At most, the height of these sandals will be about 3-4mm… just enough cushion to prevent punctures from sharp rocks. http://ift.tt/2u1PdJf

My printer is causing nightmares. Literally. (serious)

This is definitely the weirdest question ever I’ve posted on Reddit, but it’s totally serious. I’m posting this to see if anyone else has had a similar experience.I have a printer at home in the room next to my bedroom, and if the house is silent and the doors are open then I can hear it in my bedroom. If the air conditioning is running, I can’t hear it at all. Several times in the past few months I’ve started overnight prints and then had ridiculously bizarre, detailed, vivid nightmares. I wake up in the dark, the air conditioning has switched off so I can hear the printer running in the next room, and I immediately jump up and go turn it off. Then I sleep normally for the rest of the night.I guess the continuous sound is just producing anxiety in my sleep. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? http://ift.tt/2t7Sb2i
