Warning: Do not purchase filament from “3D Mars” on Amazon

A person claiming to be from 3D Mars posted on /r/3DPrintMyThing a few days ago looking for people to review their filament. It was a very shady looking post, but I decided to email the OP and see what they were looking for, since we offer material review services.Through the course of email, we found that this contact, allegedly at 3D Mars, is attempting to solicit under-the-table compensated reviews for their Amazon pages, a process steeped in questionable morality, and also stands as a blatant violation of Amazon TOS.They asked for me to have all my employees and myself purchase their filament, and write a review. Then, they’d PayPal us back the value of the filament.Therefore, I would like to warn the 3D printing community to not purchase from 3D Mars, as this shows that none of the reviews on their products can be trusted.Mods – if you would like to validate the claims I made in this post, feel free to PM me. http://ift.tt/2s9f1BV
