A big thanks to /r/3dprinting!

Heya guys and gals, just wanted to give you all a big old digital hug for being a source of good info during my process of putting together The Hamburger. It’s up and running at 95% (SCREW cable management) and youse guys have answered a lot of questions that got me through the sticky stuff. (Firmware)In the end, it prints amazingly well and pretty much out of the gate doesn’t print fail. The closest thing to a failure has been while setting up the Z height and I don’t count that.Anyway I started coming here in 2014 (Oh crap really?) with my not so new, refurbished Printrbot, moved onto the Mendelmax 3, and now have officially designed and built a pretty damned good printer from scratch, which frankly is never something I thought I had an interest in doing.I mean, my gig is filmmaker. I got into this for making props for my goofy movies. I do art, not friggin’ engineering you know?Anyway much appreciated, and I hope I can do the same for some noob that everyone here did for me along the way. http://ift.tt/2lWlKwJ
