How do I know if my Maker Select has improved connectors for the hotbed?

Just got a Maker Select from Amazon yesterday and I’m seeing lots of posts saying I should mod the hotbed connector on the board to prevent it from burning out. I’ve also seen some people saying that the connector has been upgraded on some models and doesn’t need to be changed out. What am I looking for to tell if it needs to be changed out?The hotbed and power connectors on my board are both green with screws on the top, while the hot end and fan have orange plugs. Pictures I’ve seen of people doing the mod have the orange plugs for their hotbed. Do I still need to do the mod? http://ift.tt/2jMeu9D
