Curious if you guys think 3d printing would work on a boat rocking back and forth? If everything on the printer is tightened and the printer itself is secured in place would the quality of the prints be affected?I have a fairly large battery bank, so I’m not worried about it’s electrical requirements so much.I am concerned about amount of heat it puts off. It’s not a terribly big boat and thus if it does give off an ungodly amount of heat it would definitely not be fun.*DISCLAIMER- I have never used a 3d printer before, but really want to put one on the boat I’m fixing up http://ift.tt/2lgjvoa

printing in lattices saves time

I have a feeling I am going to quickly run out of desk space…

Weird line on my prints ( left rose)

I wanted to remotely watch my (somewhat unreliable) printer.

I 3D printed 9 lithophanes and added some LEDs to make a shadow box picture display.

Would I be able set up a 3d printer on my sailboat and print while on passage?

My first successful print!!!!!! 3rd time’s a charm. Its a little off still but its mine and it prints.
