Just ordered a Prusa i3 MK2, what else do I need to get while I wait the 7-8 weeks (aka eternity) for delivery? Mods/Filament/etc recommendations

I am really looking forward to getting into the world of 3D printing and know that the build is no cake walk but I am prepared and will be reading the directions several times over while I wait for it to arrive. I’m looking for any recommendations as to common mods, best filaments, pro-tips and so on. I plan to house the printer in our under the stairs closet and to use OctoPrint with a webcam so I can keep an eye on things, any potential issues with that? http://ift.tt/2kkTuGA

The Benchies

Imagine a 3D Printing awards ceremony called the Benchies, in which printers are awarded a 3D printed trophy of Benchy for categories such as “Best 3D model in the insert category here”, “Best Original 3D model”, etc. it would be set up much like the Oscars or Golden Globes, except for the Printing Community.Update: If this gets enough positive feedback we will consider hosting the first annual Benchies to YouTube, with Reddit users submitting their prints http://ift.tt/2iXjHuC
