Update: Printer for Puzzles

I decided to go with a resin printer, more precisely the Form 2. I must say, this was easier to set up than my regular printer.Place the resin container on the designated areaInstall the wiperInsert the resin tankFix the build platform onto the armAnd that’s it. I had to adjust the feet to make sure it’s level but the printer itself has an electronic level and pretty much told me which side needs raising.Really a magnificent beast.First I printed a small thin man, just to see what kind of detail I can expect on the lowest detail setting (0.1mm)Here he is sitting on my keyboardThe layers are still visible but honestly this is pretty coolAnd since I want this to print my puzzles. I decided to make a test print of a basic puzzle using 12 pieces. Here right out of the machineTwo of the different puzzle types sanded down so they can be assembledFully assembledThe puzzle itself used up around 25ml of resin which is about $4. So not cheap but damn these pieces are without even using the UV bath to strengthen it, pretty sturdy.Love this machine, even the post processing with alcohol and clean up is actually not that much of a hassle as it seems to be. http://ift.tt/2fqv5uC
