Good place to get {custom} heat pads?

I need a 120V heater with a hole in the middle. I replaced the printbed on my Felix with a MIC6 1/4″ plate (yep, its 3x heavier than stock but flat as hell). Monoprice select mini questions

I would like to print some enclosures for my esp8266 development board (it’s about as big as two AA batteries next to each other), and enclosures for AA batteries (normal enclosures wouldn’t do the trick).I searched for 3d printers that cost something around 200 euro, and the one I found was the Monopirce select mini (it seems like the best choice for this price).My questions are:Will the select mini be good enough for prints starting at around 2 cms width?Where can I buy one in Europe? http://ift.tt/2fW8SXQ

Software recommendations for modifying existing Things.

I’m pretty new to 3D printing and CAD. A major problem I’m running into is that while there’s lots of awesome software choices for designing items from scratch to print (See: Fusion 360 for complex objects, etc) I’m having a really hard time finding software for effective editing of existing .STL objects. I’ve got f360, Meshmixer, Meshlab, and Netfabb installed, but even so I’m finding editing STL’s to be a very arduous task.Am I missing something simple here? Is there a good program for modifying existing .STL objects specifically to make changes to objects I’m intending to print?Because F360, for example, can load an STL object, but can’t really do anything with it short of attempting to wrap another object around it, which typically results in a terrible loss of detail and (at least in my case) results in the program crashing if you’ve got any number of vertices on the form you’re trying to wrap with. Maybe this is a ram constraint, I’m not sure – my system is hardly weak, though it’s not a powerhouse (i5 4690k, 8gb ram).Anyways, I can’t help but think I’m missing something really obvious here, as this seems unreasonably complicated.
