Hi. I’ve never 3d Printed before. Never owned a printer. But I am thinking about getting one. Help?

Hi there. I am thinking about getting the FlashForge 3D Printer but I am not quite yet convinced. I have never owned or used or seen or messed with a 3d printer. I like projects and being creative. I would love to 3D print the D&D monster manual and other such D&D related items. I’d also like to print geeky items that would be cool for my mancave. But for the cost I wanted to come and chat first. Hoping that you guys will tell me why its worth it and how easy it is (I’ve toyed with 3d Modeling in Sketchup and I am aware of Thingverse). Just generally on the fence about the investment with not real specific questions. Just hoping this community can push me one director or the other. http://ift.tt/2dIrxFY

I have a 3D printer. I want to print another one, but which one?

I have a 3D printer that I bought as a kit. A friend has asked if I could print the parts for another printer. My question is, what would you print?Personally, I like the Prusa i3, but I can’t seem to find a kit that doesn’t include the plastic parts. Also, it seems somewhat expensive.My primary factors are:How much is printable. The more the better.Overall cost for parts. The less the better.Print quality.
