Can anyone with corexy experience critic this machines flaws?

I spend waayy too much time surfing aliexpress looking at 3d printers they come up with and they have finally started releasing corexy kits. there are several in the 250-300 range but this ones caught my eye and kind of looks amazing. http://ift.tt/2dAJLpd could someone tell me why this wouldnt be a fun third printer to mess with? Its the a mechanical flaw in the design that would be too annoying to fix? http://ift.tt/2cV1cCt

I want to try 3D printing but I am not sure how to make what I want.

Hello, my workplace has a 3D printer that we can use. I want to make a keycap for a mechanical keyboard. I don’t know where to start with this little project. Is there a way I can make the stem and bottom as a template and then make a little sculpture on top of the template? Thanks in advance for all your help! http://ift.tt/2dyA4qq

Any real alternatives to Thingiverse?

I’ve had it with Thingiverse – their javascript causes terrible browser lag, the new search barely works, there’s no version control, half the time uploads don’t even work, thumbnails are slow as hell, editing collections is a nightmare, they don’t encourage people to provide sourcecode, they are biased as they’re Makerbot, they don’t listen to users…..About the only good thing about the site is Customizer, and that’s just a webgl wrapper around openscad. As someone on Hackaday said, the problem is they have the market share, so they keep attracting the new users. So is there an alternative we can all get behind and promote? http://ift.tt/2d5MDJV
