Question on if it’s appropriate to share a project here

I have been working on a project and would like to share, but I’m not sure it’s the most appropriate for this forum. It is a 3d printed magfed paintball marker shell. I designed it around an existing platform, but a fellow enthusiast is printing it for me.Would it be appropriate to share here? Or would that be frowned upon. I understand that 3d printing firearms or replica firearms can be controversial, though this one does not particularly look like any existing firearm I am aware of. http://ift.tt/2dSoF8n

Two tricks I wished I knew about Cura when I started

Figured these might help some of you guys:You can drag an image into Cura and it will generate a model with height based on the colors. super useful for designing anything flat.sometimes, Cura will not generate supports for “floating” sections of a print no matter what your support settings are. but setting infill to 0 magically can make it add supports in more places. Monoprice Maker Select v2.1 bearings

Does anyone know where to buy or have any experience with the build plate bearings on the duplicator or maker select v2.1? I have a lot of rattling going on with my build plate and when I went to tighten the screws under the build plate I came to the realization that it is actually the bearings that are causing the rattling. http://ift.tt/2dDpEX9
