What do you guys do in a multi-part print when one part falls over?

I’ve had this happen a few times. I’m well into a print of multiple parts, one of the parts falls over. Obviously the printer keeps trying to extrude where there is now nothing, so strings of plastic come out and end up wiping on whatever the next part in sequence is, for every layer until it finishes.Anybody have good recommendations for how to deal with this? I know the best solution would be to get a better adhesion on my first layer, but if I find myself in this position are there any options other than sitting there and scraping every once in a while? http://ift.tt/2cet1p8

Any way to make a negative of an stl file?

I’ve got a bit of resin laying around and I had a thought that I could just print a mold out and use that to make a resin copy. I’m sure I could find specific files that would be like the negative of a print, but is there a way to easily make a mold out of any file? Thanks for the help. http://ift.tt/2cEVRji
