I’m a 6’1″ Dude and Sprained my ankle the other day. My Mom had a set of crutches lying around but she’s 5’6″. The crutches only suit someone up to 5’10”, so I modeled and printed a 3″ extension.

What to buy to upgrade the Monoprice Architect to dual extrusion?

Monoprice was having a nice sale today, so I picked up the 3D Printer dual Extruder Heating assembly (http://ift.tt/2bRkpTq). What else do I need to buy to get my Monoprice Architect (Flashforge Creator clone) to dual extrusion goodness?My research seems to indicate that it’s a pair of NEMA17s, a pair of Mk8 feed kits, a pair of stepper gears, a pair of heat sinks, and a pair of fans. But I have no idea if there’s specific models I’m supposed to buy, or if there’s better stuff. Your thoughts are appreciated. http://ift.tt/2bWop4W

Replace sanguinololu with ramps

I currently have a geeetech aluminum i3 printer with a sanguinololu board. While it prints very nice I miss the option to control a nozzle fan. Currently I can turn it on or off but I would like to be able the control it from the software. Therefore I was thinking to replace the sanguinololu with a ramps board. Before I will go down this road I was hoping if someone could give me some advice..? Will I run into problems? http://ift.tt/2bGw4Z4
