Extruder is clogged? Do I need to take it apart completely?

So the extruder on my printer was partially clogged so I was trying to do cold pulls without nylon and the extruder got completely clogged I believe. I have a Maker Select v2 (same as a Wanhao duplicator i3) I followed the instructions for unclogging the wanhao but it’s further down, if I take apart the fan and the motor (?) an allen key will fit in there with a little force but when I heat it up the pla just won’t go in. Any ideas? Do you think I should try taking it all apart? I’d like to try any other ideas first because I don’t think I have what you need for that. Thanks! 🙂 http://ift.tt/1XGvCZO

How plausible would it be for me to 3D print a custom laptop case?

I have no prior knowledge about 3D printing. I have no idea if it would even be cost effective (assuming I already have the rest of the actual computer parts). When I looked into building my own laptop, I realized that it’s really hard to do using just scrap parts. You usually have to get at least the case, motherboard, monitor, battery, and several other parts all in one piece…. Unless you 3D printed your own. http://ift.tt/1sIPMqP
