Looking for a guide on thermistor replacement (MP Select Mini Specifically)

Like a lot of people, the MP select mini is my first jump into the 3D printing world. Well I broke mine a couple weeks ago. I had a pretty bad clog and had to take apart the nozzle to fix it. When I put everything together I started getting 0 readings on my nozzle temp. I’ve been lead to believe this is the thermistor being damaged. I was looking into buying a replacement (someone in my previous thread found out this printer uses a 100k ntc beta 3950 thermistor). However, when I looked that up on amazon, I realized I have NO idea what I’m looking at. Could someone point me to a beginners guide on thermistor replacement? http://ift.tt/29KAVp3

Went to Microcenter, picked up a bunch (150+)of their filament samples, happy to send you some (PLA/ABS)

http://ift.tt/2agDGgw sell this for a penny each – each contains a 100″ length of black, white, green, gray, red of PLA or ABS. If you want to cover shipping or trade something (maybe print something cool for my son’s birthday coming up (turning 6)) that would be nice. Feel free to pm me or post here. I’m thinking US only as I’ll probably use USPS flat-rate shipping, not looking to make anything on this, just paying it forward or whatever. I probably have about 100+ to give away. http://ift.tt/29KnGo7

New to astroprint, pause at layer option?

Just got astroprint setup on my printrbot simple metal and it seems great so far. I really want to figure out how to have it automatically pause my print at a certain layer. I’ve never modified gcode and don’t really understand the astroprint slicer yet. Anyone have any input on how I could do this? http://ift.tt/29KfVP6
