Cura heats bed then extruder, how to heat both at once?

Repetier heats both at once. It’s especially annoying when I need to change a setting after it’s almost heated (230/235 100/100) and then it lets the extruder drop all the way to ~100c while it heats the bed the 3 degrees it dropped while it was slicing.. http://ift.tt/2b6xz1k

Question about nylon filament wetness

Im printing out a bottom plate for a quadcopter on my Taulman 910 filament that I just opened, and its popping. So the filament came damp… I asked somebody else who has used this filament and he said he always has to dry his nylon filament out…Is the piece im already printing going to be weaker? What does wet nylon filament do to effect the finished product? And to dry it out is it best to dry it at 150c in the oven for 3-4 hours? http://ift.tt/2aEUxLs

Tricky enclosure problem (keeping toxic air inside)

HiI’m building an enclosure for my TAZ. Or rather, I’ve already built it, but I still need to solve the problem of air intake and exhaust. The enclosure is pretty air tight, but there needs to be two holes in it (apart from the one for cables):1) An intake hole so the electronics box can get colder air for cooling2) An exhaust hole must thus also be necessary – right?The issue is that I sometimes print ABS, and since the enclosure is located in my office I don’t want the toxic fumes to escape. I’ve built one of those air scrubbers (http://ift.tt/1bsvdiZ) and it works wonderfully in an enclosed space. But if I make holes for ventilation how can I ensure that the toxic air will stay inside until it has been cleansed? I thought of putting a respirator cartridge filter (like the one used in the air scrubber) in the hole, but it does limit fan airflow quite a bit so I don’t know if the electronics would be adequately cooled.So is it possible to make a “one way” entry for air in the cooling intake hole or is this possible to solve in another way (or not at all?)? http://ift.tt/2aEU0cM
