I&#8217;m posting this to see if anyone else has had a similar experience.I have a printer at home in the room next to my bedroom, and if the house is silent and the doors are open then I can hear it in my bedroom. If the air conditioning is running, I can&#8217;t hear it at all. Several times in the past few months I&#8217;ve started overnight prints and then had ridiculously bizarre, detailed, vivid nightmares. I wake up in the dark, the air conditioning has switched off so I can hear the printer running in the next room, and I immediately jump up and go turn it off. Then I sleep normally for the rest of the night.I guess the continuous sound is just producing anxiety in my sleep.
